This was our last year of OBX, so sad. Thankfully we were brave and went as 1Ls so we got to enjoy it for three years. Our house was huge and amazing. The weather wasn't the best but it was still such a good trip. We stayed for a week. We hung out on the beach, tried catching crabs, did some sight seeing, went mini golfing, searched for wild horses, sat in the hot tub, played games, watched movies and ate so much good food. My favorite activity was the games we would play each night after the kids were in bed. We played the couch game of course which kind of became a tradition since playing our first year. We always play our games boys vs girls and they seem to get more competitive that way. One night we played night games outside and played steal the flag. And although there were like 6 pregnant girls we did manage to win once and did a pretty good job putting up a fight against the boys. There were a few downfalls too during our trip. Adam Watts made the bold move to jump from the third floor into the pool and severely bruised his feet. He ended up going to the instacare and couldn't walk much the remainder of the trip. Everett Weedman ran into the Foosball table and got stitches. Poor pregnant Vanessa ended up in the ER with kidney stones. And Jack got stuck in the elevator for about twenty minutes. We definitely had more hospital trips this year than in the past. Overall though, I think everyone would agree our trip was definitely a success and we will all miss it. Especially when it comes October and we are freezing our faces off in Utah.

| They look so sad here. Haha. Playing in the rain a few days before we left. |
| One day I turned around to see Bob the Builder and the Man with the Yellow Hat staring at me. |
| They love washing the dishes and doing car washes with their cars. |
| Playing in the sink is probably Charlotte's favorite activity right now. Here is the temper tantrum that followed when I said no more sink (because our entire floor was covered in water). |
| So mad. |
| Vanessa and I did a little announcement to our friends that we were both pregnant before leaving to OBX so we didn't have to worry about hiding our pregnancy symptoms. |
| At the beach house! |
| The house was huge. Had 13 rooms, three levels, a kitchen on each level, two hot tubs, a pool, couple of game rooms and movie rooms. |
| Playing on the beach! I think this dump truck has made the trip all three years too. |
| This was church on Sunday. |
| Driving on the beach looking for wild horses. We didn't spot any but the kids loved driving unbuckled and taking turns steering the car. |
| This was a colder day. We went to catch crabs at the docks. |
| Waiting for a crab to bite. We didn't have much luck :( |
Char, Grayson and Jack.
| The kids watching a movie. |
| Char and Noah Watts hugging. |
| This day we had some yummy seafood and went mini golfing. |
Mini golf.
| Riding the train at the mini golf place. Char is cheering, "Yay yay!" |
| Derek Bunker jumping from the third floor into the 8 foot pool. You'd think these law boys would be smarter.... |
| Our group! 22 adults and 14 kids. |
| Eating a little sand. |
| Down time for the kids and adults. IPad saves the day. |
| I learned to boogie board. So fun. |
| Logan dug and dug some holes. |
| Even though there were two hot tubs, they were always packed with people. |
l |
| Logan and I went on a date one night after the kids were in bed. We went to a movie and I tasted yummy Ritas for the first time. Yum. We also visited poor Vanessa who ended up in the hospital in the middle of the night with kidney stones. Poor girl. We brought her a frog we caught in the parking lot of the hospital. Now that I think about it, bringing a frog into a hospital sounds pretty unsanitary. |
| Pure joy. |
| Me and Emily ready to hit the waves. |
| Logan pulling the kids on the boogie board. |
| Char decorating herself with stickers. |
| She's so cute. |
| The elevator, oh the elevator. Jack was obsessed and so of course he got stuck in it for about 20 minutes even though we told him he couldn't go in without an adult. He was pretty traumatized afterwards. Another little boy got stuck in in it later too. So curious. |
| A successful trip! |
