Despicable me

I am not sure how it happened, but Jack loves Despicable Me.  I bought the movie on black friday last year for three dollars and we watched it maybe once.  Then out of the blue we pulled it out again and he has been hooked ever since.  So when I asked him what kind of birthday party he wanted, the answer was Despicable Me.  I had fun planning him a little minion party and although Jack and I were probably the only ones that got all the jokes and clever decor, it was still super fun.  We had about 8 of his little buds and their moms over for a pre-lunch party of snacks and games.  We played a few games that were from the movie, had snacks and opened presents.  Jack loved it.  Once everyone went home he said, "Mom, my friends loves me so much."  Can't ask for a better reaction than that.
