Ragnar

Logan ran the DC Ragnar with some classmates.  I was super jealous and wanted to join the ranks, but thought it would perhaps be inappropriate to pump milk in the van throughout the race.  Charlotte is lucky I love her so much to miss out on the fun.  So Logan was the Christenson representative and he represented well.  Logan had one of the hardest legs of the race.  He wouldn't say so if you asked him, but Logan is an awesome runner.  It just comes naturally and I covet his talent.  He headed down to DC with Steve and Jenni Guynn where they slept at Rachael Harding's parent's house.  They got a few hours of sleep and then started their trek of 200 miles which crossed into 3 states.  There were 12 runners and each ran 3 legs of the race.  Logan's legs were difficult because not only were they long, but uphill.  His first two legs went great, the third was rough.  Their team ran very well, but had a little difficulty staying on track and got lost a few times (apparently the race wasn't marked very well and this happened to lots of people).  He didn't sleep or eat much for 24 hours, but he enjoyed it and said he would like to run it again.

While Logan was running, the kids and I did some camping.  It was the ward camp out and although I wasn't brave enough to actually spend the night in a tent, I did take them to eat dinner and to the evening activities.  We roasted mallows and hot dogs, played with friends, and enjoyed the ward program.  We had fun, but were sure happy when daddy came home.
Eating Dinner

Char playing some Frisbee.

Their team was called Wahoos Your Daddy.  It's a play on words for UVA Wahoos.
