OBX part 1

For Logan's fall break we went with some of the RELLS families (Rex E Lee Law Society, the LDS law group we are a part of) to Outer Banks in Corolla NC.  We all pitched in and got a beach house just a block away from the ocean.  We lucked out and had super weather.  It was so fun just relaxing and actually seeing our husbands for a whole week.  Jack loved all the attention from adults and to have some little buddies to play with daily.  There were 20 adults and 12 kids and somehow we didn't feel crowded in that house.  It was 3 stories and we all got our own bedroom and bathroom.  It had a theater room, game room, hot tub and pool for entertainment.  We got there Saturday evening.  So Sunday we caravan-ed to church which was about 45 minutes away in Nags Head.  After church we hit some famous Sand Dunes at The Jockey Ridge National Park and then to Kitty Hawk to The Wright Brothers Museum.  We spent the rest of the week playing at the beach and checking out things around Corolla.  We caught crabs at the dock which we cooked to eat.

Jack loved running up and down the hills.  He had sand in every crevasse when we got home.

That house is huge! That looks like it was tons of fun. Why do they have a Fall Break? Is that in addition to a Thanksgiving Break?
