Pumpkin Patch Party

Family housing did a day up at Carter Mountain.  Not only do we love Carter Mountain, but we especially love it when it comes with free apples, a wagon ride and treats.  So I joined many of the other moms and kids (a few dads, it was during the middle of the day) and had a day on the farm.  The pumpkin patch was there and Jack loved tipping the pumpkins over and watching me run after them down the hill hoping a worker didn't see.  He loved the wagon ride of course because he got to stare at the tractor while it pulled us.  It was a super fun day and I wish Logan could have came, but I still enjoyed chatting with the ladies.

The wagon ride with Olivia.

Jack, Olivia, and Bennett.  Try getting 3 kids to look at you at once.

Free apple cider!  I hate cider.

Ah but I did love the apple cider donuts.  We brought a bunch home to dad.

The wagon ride.

Picking apples.
Jack attempted to take a bite out of every apple we picked off the tree.  I had to be quick to snatch them away so we didn't have a bushel of rotten apples by the time we got home.

A nice view of the valley.  I can't remember if this is looking over UVA or Monticello.
