We finally made a trip to the temple. It is about a 2.5 hrs to get to the DC temple. It takes more effort to do temple trips here than it did in Utah when we could just drive up the road, but it is definitely worth it. We left early Saturday morning. I did a session of initiatory and then Logan did. We took turns hanging out with Jack. It was a nice day and it wasn't hard to keep him entertained. He loves playing in our car and the visitor center had some fun distractions as well as the temple grounds did too. The DC temple is huge
(at least 7 floors) and so pretty. When we pulled up to the temple Jack thought he was going to go to nursery.

| The visitor center had Christmas trees on display. This was Jack's first exposure to them since he has started to really notice things. He loved them. Especially all the "balls". |
