Moving

Moving day was here before we knew it.  Bittersweet really.  Excited to move onto a new chapter in our lives but also so sad to leave our home of three years and all our wonderful friends behind.  Moving is never fun but considering that we had a brand new baby, it went pretty well.  Logan and I have gotten it down to a science.  And by that I mean, we are tired of moving and just throw everything in a box.  I took a few pictures of Cville before we left.  So green and pretty... and filled with ticks.  I just have to keep reminding myself of the ticks and then I don't feel as bad.  I flew to Utah with Logan's parents.  That was a miracle.  They made the plane with in minutes.  For real.  Bruce accidentally left his wallet at the gas station that morning on our way to the airport.  Logan dropped me off because I would need all the time I could get trying to manage the three kids on the plane.  I figured they would be right behind me.  But I guess they kept running into problems.  I sat on the plane wondering if they'd make it.  I was nervous to fly all alone with the kids.  I waited and waited.  Finally the stewardess told everyone to buckle up.  I teared up for a minute and then was like, Ok, looks like it's just you.  You can do it.  I got us all buckled.  We were about to take off and suddenly on the plane ran Bruce and Alice.  Bless their hearts.  They were a big help with Jack and Char so I could tend to Holden.  It was a long day but not as terrible as it could have been.  Logan on the other hand had to finish cleaning and packing and then make the drive across the country with Craigory.  Haha.  I don't know who got the worse end of the deal.  It took him four days to get here.  I was worried he would get tired so I made him take it slow.  They both survived and soon we were all reunited in Utah!

The view of our backyard.  We basically lived in the forest.  Jack loved to just roam...thus all the ticks.
Another view.  The kids loved to ride their bikes and sled down this big hill.

I loved the ivy that grew on trees.

The back of our apartment in Copeley.  We were on the bottom floor.  They weren't fancy by all means but we loved our backyard.

The downtown mall.  Don't be fooled, it's not really a mall.  Just lots of shops and delicious places to eat.  The children's museum was also here.  We would go a couple times a month.  And more often than not, we also got a cupcake at Cappellinos Crazy Cakes too.  My favorite, until I got food poisoning.  Logan and I went here a lot for date night too.  Yummiest food.
Grandma Alice entertaining the kids so we could pack.

Jack caught a moth and couldn't wait to show it to Grandma Alice.
We got some UVA gear for everyone at Mincer's.  The Grandparents entertaining the kids.

Char fell in love with Grandpa Bruce while they visited.  They were such cute little buddies.

4 a.m. and off to Utah.
Ready to fly.  I bought these harnesses for our flight.  They were much easier than lugging car seats.
And Logan and Craigory's adventures begin.  I insisted that Logan documented their trip.  Lot's of selfies of him and Craig.
Poor kitty.
Taking a break at the hotel.
Pit stop.

Logan's favorites.  They kept him awake.

Oh Prairie dog town.  We stopped here on our second cross country drive.  Such a gem.
The 800 signs that lead up to it.

We made it!  Relaxing at grandmas.
