Oh what do you do in the summer time?

We were able to meet up with friends and family a lot this summer.  I did a few play dates with friends from law school who were interning in Salt Lake as well.  We discovered a soda machine only a block away with 25 cent sodas and made a few too many trips there.  Jack did a LOT of swimming this summer as we did swimming lessons a few times.  He loved it and did well.  Charlotte wanted more than anything to join him.  Somehow I kept her out of the water.  We went to our first family movie in a theater, Monsters University. Jack loved it and was so funny.  Char did pretty good but go a little antsy at the end.  Logan's work Rented the Hogle Zoo with dinner and activities.  The kids loved it.  Logan's work also ran the Spartan Beast, a 12 mile with obstacle race, which he did very well  in (of course).
Jack "cleaning" our windows

Meeting up with Whitney and Lincoln Mellor at the Aquarium.

Practicing his swimming skills in the tub.

Swim lessons!

Cream soda.
Goggles.  She does everything Jack does.

More cream soda.
The Hogle Zoo.
Face painting.  Or in this case, arm painting.

Carousel.  He chose the pray  mantis.  Really?

A little cook out with the Tippetts.  We are obsessed with making cobbler.

Hanging out at the Thanksgiving point Dinosaur Museum with the Watts.

Washing the car.  A dream come true.
Monsters university!
We were in the Disney Store when they held a quick scare school from Monsters University.

Madee at Miss Gunnison!  She did so good!

Hunting for tadpoles in Gunnison.
Driving the car.  Another dream come true.  Jack always tell us how he can't wait to turn 16 so he can drive a car.  And that he can't wait to turn 22 thousand so he can drive a Monster Truck.  Apparently the older you are, the bigger vehicle you can drive.
Logan at Spartan.  Killed it.

Hurtling a wall.
