Riding a bike is fun to do

We spent lots of our time outside our apartment playing as well as at the splash pad down the block and at the Provo Rec Center.  We really lucked out because both the splash pad and rec center were brand new, literally opening a week before we moved in.  I found a cheap Lightening McQueen bike at a thrift store for Jack.  He was really skilled on his balance bike and I thought we would try a real bike.  He loved riding his bike.  After two weeks we decided to give it a go and took off the training wheels.  We really weren't expecting much.  He literally got on the bike and rode off!  It was the day after his half birthday.  The boy has skill.

Our apartment we lived in.  There is the old Tahoe sitting in the parking lot.

Jack's halfy birthday.  A little lunch at McDonalds.  Normally you just get a cupcake but I wanted an excuse for a McFlurry.

Halfy Bday!

No training wheels!

Our apartment.
The Y.  We walked this street many times to the store for a treat or the splash pad.
We made many visits to the library.  Char loved the giant stuffed dogs.
The Provo Rec Center.  We had a summer pass.

At the ribbon cutting of the splash pad.  Free cookies!

Char was in love with this neighbors toy puppy.  She know owns one of her own.
