Round Two

Logan had surgery on his OTHER shoulder last Thursday.  He did his right arm back in November and it was so much fun we decided to do the left.  Good times.  The surgery went really good and the damage was just about the same as the other shoulder.  Now we get to look forward to 6 weeks in a sling and then physical therapy.  When we first got back home from the surgery, Logan was acting a bit strange.  He kept standing in corners, checking the refrigerator condensor coils, and telling me to feed the horses.  I couldn't quite tell if this was the anesthesia or drugs talking.  Turns out he was pulling my leg and knew exactly what he was doing.  Silly Logan.  He had been quite the trooper and is handling his sleepless night well.

We chose to do the surgery when we did, but I think we must have been mad.  We are also in the middle of packing so we can move next week to Gunnison for a few months before we head to law school and Logan is graduating next week with his masters.  It has been a pretty crazy week and Jack has never watched so much Baby Einsteins before.  Hopefully I can be a real mom again someday.

Also, in a way of good news, We have been wait listed at Stanford and Harvard!  Its a long shot, but here is hoping!!!

He really isn't as sad as he looks here.  I think he is just drugged.

I don't know why, but when I first looked at this picture, I thought he was holding a gun. He should not do that if he is on drugs!
