Jack Attack

Oh Jack.  Never a dull moment.  Jack is coming up his fourth birthday soon and he is as busy as ever.  Always, always talking and moving.  From the second he wakes up until he is in bed, he is talking and moving.
Things Jack loves right now:
Bugs.  He loves catching bugs and calling them his little friends and taking them along with him.
Taking pictures.  We have so many random pictures on our phones.  Jack loves to take pictures and has asked for his own camera for Christmas.
Counting.  Jack is really into counting and numbers.  He likes to punch numbers on calculator and have us tell him what it is. He also loves the game of telling us big numbers.  He doesn't quite get this yet so an example big number would be- eighty six, fourty nine, million, forty ninety, seventeen eighteen.  (that's all one number)
Wrestling.  I don't know if it's necessarily wrestling but he loves to play physical games, especially with Logan (mom is too weak).  He loves to have crocy rides, go for blanket rides, hotdog rides, frog rides, and many more fun rides Logan has come up with.
Cats and dogs.  Jack has recently learned about pets.  He wants a pet and loves to act like a kitty.  We just learned about the SPCA, an animal shelter where you can go to pet cats and dogs and even take the dogs on a walk.  Long story short, we went to the SPCA, picked a little dachshund named Wally to take for a walk.  We took him to a fenced in area where you can let the dog off the leash to play.  Wally immediately slipped through the fence and ran for it out into oncoming traffic.  Logan and our friend Brett chased Wally for a good while until they cornered him and grabbed him.  Wally bit Logan but we got him back safely.  Apparently the worker didn't know they weren't supposed to let Wally go for walks.  Oops.
Jack calls instructions, constructions.  Example: mom we can play this game we just have to read the constructions.
He loves Char and being a big brother.  He likes to help her and is very good at getting her to do things we can't.  He loves to help her to talk and has pretty good success getting her to say new words.  Except he doesn't quite understand he needs to use easy words.  So he will say, "Char can you say bus? Can you say truck? Can you say excavator? Can you say Green Recycling Truck?
We love Jack and all his energy.
Jack taking pictures while we drive in the car.
A bug friend.

Another bug friend.
Jack helped me catch a frog.  We then left it on a friends car as a prank.  Jack though it was fun until he realized we weren't taking the frog home.
Kisses for Char and rides for Jack.  Good multitasking Logan.
I walked in one day after quiet time to find this.  Jack dumped the filling from the bean bag out.  He said he wanted to make snow.
More daddy rides.
Watching a movie in his tent.  He loves this tent and sometimes when Char is being a stinker he will sleep in here instead of his bed.
Jack is always taking the off beaten path :)
