He's three

My boy is three.  Jack's due date was Christmas and thankfully he came a week early.  However, his birthday still seems to be squished in the middle of a lot of holiday business.  It's hard not to overlook it.  So I did make an effort but still kept it low key.  We did a little party with some friends.  It was a Disney Cars theme of course.  Later that night we had a family dinner.  Although I tried to convince him otherwise (I really like birthday cake), Jack requested a watermelon fruit birthday cake.  The boy devoured it in minutes.  

And now a bit about Jack:

His favorites: 

all fruit, especially watermelon, pomegranates and kiwis

Curious George, Disney Cars movies, Pocoyo, Wall-E

rough housing in general, this boy can't get enough chasing, throwing, tickling, and hide and seek

he often requests to "take a warm bath" 

He has a very vivid imagination.  He often has bad dreams about lions.  One morning he kept asking me where the lions were. When I told him there weren't any he told me he saw some yesternight.  He also requests to fly in a rocket to the moon, go to Curious Georges house, and fly us all in an airplane to Utah.

He calls elevators, eligators.

He likes to practices authority over us.  I asked him to tell Logan dinner was ready.  He ran in our room and said, "No, no, no daddy.  Your belly is empty,  You have to not study, it's time for dinner."  

I can't remember if I shared this story.  A while ago Jack was sick and laying on the floor.  Char crawled over and started tugging on him.  He cried out in despair, "I'm not a toy! I am not a toy!  I am not a toy sissy!"

Jack is a non-stop ball of energy.  A lot of work, and a lot of fun.  We love him :)

Whenever I am around a group of children teacher  Sara comes out.  I can't help but organize the chaos (and probably fun too) and read a book.  Sorry to lame up your party Jack.  We read one of Jack's favorite books, My Truck is Stuck.
