We got to enjoy four Easter's this year. The first Easter event we attended was the family housing Easter picnic and hunt. First was the egg hunt. It was a tad crazy with some confusion on the rules but even though Jack only got a handful of eggs he didn't mind. He was just happy they had a surprise inside. Next Jack had his hand painted. They were doing face painting but I was afraid it would freak him out a bit and he wouldn't be able to enjoy it if it was on his face. Afterwards we did a picture with the Easter bunny and then enjoyed a yummy picnic. The next weekend the VLF had an egg hunt and picnic. Jack did better this time and got lots of eggs and of course more candy. The next morning was the ward breakfast and egg hunt. First we ate a nice breakfast and had a lesson from the sister missionaries about Christ which was followed by another egg hunt. Later that afternoon we our own little family egg hunt for Jack and Charlotte. And then of course Sunday was the actual holiday of Easter where we enjoyed a nice day at church and reflecting on the Resurrection. Jack racked in a lot of candy but thankfully he is still so young that I was able to take most of it away without him noticing. On Easter Sunday we also went for a family picnic and rolled some Easter eggs.

Getting his hand painted. He was nervous at first and wouldn't look. Kind of like when I get my blood drawn.
Slowly he came around and then was quite interested.
He picked a green butterfly.
Jack wasn't so sure of the Easter Bunny at first. He did "pound it" with him though.
And gave him a high five.
Slowly he got closer.
Right after we were done taking pictures Jack decided he loved the Easter Bunny and kept trying to feed him leaves.
