Something New

After many requests from my fans, I have decided to post something new (now get off my back about it). A lot has happened since I last wrote so I'll have to give you the compact version.

Thanks to my good friend Mysha, I have been able to follow my life long dream of becoming a fashion designer. Okay, I didn't know I had this life long dream until about a month ago and its not really a dream but it sure has been fun. Here is a shirt I conjured up.

We attended Bear Lake Raspberry days (ironically never eating a raspberry). Our snickers shake was delicious though.

We had a blast from the past in Gunnison and rode the Clarion Loop. It was Madee and Lafe's first time and they did well!

We also tried golfing for basically the first time. It was pretty pathetic at first but we caught on quick and by the end I even got a double bogey!

I enjoyed every minute of the Olympics and I couldn't help but force my preschool children to love the Olympics too so my theme for one week was the Olympics. It gave me an excuse to watch clips online and talk about Michael Phelps while at work. We even had our own opening and closing ceremonies as well as a medal ceremony.

And finally, Labor day weekend started off with a little Lagoon on Saturday. I think the rides make me a lot more nauseous then they used to but it was still a good time. We even tried the new Wicked which was my favorite by far. The weather ruined what was supposed to be a long camping trip. We got to eat the famous Bruce Burgers and my delicious cobbler. Logan and I stayed the night, which we probably wouldn't have if we knew what was coming. It poured and lightening and thundered the whole night.
Here we are eating our lunch at Lagoon in the glamorous parking lot. I'm not sure what Hannah is doing in this picture.

I just had to share a fact with you. Did you know that the raspberry days are a big phony! yeah, they cannot grow raspberries up there anymore. It is all a big fake kinda like breast implants...
