Still catching up here. I am getting behind. We had a cousin camp out at the Jacksons house. Staci made a yummy dinner and we roasted giant marshmallows. The boys taught Jack how to have a sword fight which he thought was pretty cool. We lit some sparklers and played a few rounds of night games which was new for the boys and pretty funny to watch. I also went with Logan's family to Wayne County to visit grandma and grandpa Chappell and to go to Fish Lake. Logan had to work that day but met up with us in Gunnison later. Fish Lake was a blast and Grandma Alice even rented a boat so the kids could go for boat rides. The 4th of July was fun as usual. The Lynn Pickett reunion and the Standley Pickett reunion was held over the Fourth too so it was a busy weekend of fun. The Standley Pickett reunion consisted of a dinner, fireworks and a zip line. The Lynn Pickett reunion consisted of a backhoe rodeo, clay pigeon shooting, a Quidditch tournament, a power wheel rodeo, and The Second Annual John Jeremiah Fun Run. Turns out we are quite the competitive family.
This is just a weird picture of my dad after he taped a circle of paper to his head because his hat got ruined and he didn't want his bald spot to get burned.

Grandma Alice and Jack on a ride.
Jack, Allie, Pierce and me being wind blown.
Jack wanted to fish so badly. We gave him a pole that made him feel like he was trying.
The Fourth of July. Char and Jake love to ride the power wheels.
Fireworks at Uncle Hal's
The parade.
Grandma Matthews and Mom at the parade.
The cousins waiting for candy.
Jack actually understood the parade this year and was really into it. He had quite the bucket full of candy at the end.
Char liked it but mostly a wanderer and kept wanting to pet peoples dogs.
The cousins with their loot.
The fish pond at the park.
Doing the zip line at Uncle Hal's house. Jack has no fear sometimes.
Aaron playing Quidditch for the Pickett reunion.
A blurry picture but we made Scott's nephew play the golden snitch. Not a fun job but he seemed to enjoy it.
We needed more players so Gracy and Miranda were troopers and came to play too.
Kaye Pickett took our family pictures. Here are all the cute cousins.
Dad took us all out for some good old clay pigeon shooting.
I love this picture. The John Jeremiah Second Annual Fun Run was a success!
Winners. Logan took first in the fun run (by far) and I somehow managed to be the first woman to finish.
Team Kim Pickett killed it. Really they all ran really well.
The men . . . and sweat. Not pictured was Scott.
The women.
Justin and my dad marked the route the night before. There were some jokes as well as some misleading information along the way. For example this guides Staci and Sara into a field.
Where as this sign tells everyone else to run the right way.
The run was along Farmers Freeway and Hal's farm. A pretty run.
Celebrating at the breakfast afterwards that my mom and Staci cooked. So yummy.
Justin was a weasel and backed out at the last minute. Hal and his suspenders.
We also went on a hike to the G and to see Princess Grave rock.
Here I am attempting the challenges my dad had set up for the backhoe rodeo. I did ok in the end but it took me forever. I don't know how my dad does that.
Jack in the power wheel rodeo. He loved it.
Staci surprised me with a birthday cake! Most important it was delicious.
