Chameleon

Jack looks different in every picture I take. Here are a few pics of my little chameleon. This first one is his cute Weezer tee I made him. Long live Weezer.

Baby Jack Logan!

Little Jack (literally, he was much smaller than I ever would have guessed being a 10lb baby myself) made his entrance on Dec 19th at 11:10pm. He weighed 6lbs 5 oz and was 19.5 inches long. Everything went great and we are doing well! A few quick pictures...

Happy Halloween?

I've been super busy lately with my giant "To Do" list before the baby comes. I'm happy to say that list is nearly done, but my blogging has suffered greatly and will probably continue to suffer even more when the baby arrives. Some day I'll get good at this. Here are some random catch up pictures.

My work baby shower. Thanks Megan and Jennica! So fun!
I was a rabbit for Halloween. Let's face it- if I was an animal it would definitely be a rabbit.

The Pumpkin walk with some friends from the ward.

Levi and Lacey's wedding on the 9th. It was a miracle we made it. After worrying about going into labor on the freeway, rescheduling a final, and driving through a blizzard, we finally made it. So glad we got to be there!
Me at 38 weeks pregnant. Almost there! This was also the night we went to Cafe Sabor, Logan's ex-favorite restaurant, to celebrate all his hard work and the semester ending. He ironically got food poisoning and I doubt we will ever return.

The Musings of the Kitten Rat

Oh how we love the Kitten rat. His greedy and hyperactive behavior brings entertainment to us daily. Here he is attempting to take an apple back to his lair under the TV stand as well as defeat the rat barricade aka the rat-i-cade.

31 weeks

I avoided the side shot pregnant picture for as long as I could, but certain Peruvian friends just wouldn't give it a rest so this one is for you Yenna. 31 weeks pregnantLogan is beautiful in the fall. We hiked the Crimson trail and fed the ducks during the USU fall break.

We also took the rats for a picnic to Old Main Hill on campus. They enjoyed frolicking in the fresh air as well as stealing our food.

My BFF's Seidi and Mckell threw a wonderful little shower for me with all my ladies from the Sanpete area. So fun! Note the question mark next to Jack...the name is not for certain yet.

Hogel Zoo! Miranda organized a little family day out to the zoo over UEA. Logan and I are entranced by animals so we felt it was well worth the whopping 18 bucks.

There were lots of babies a the zoo- the famous baby elephant. I just wish I could have got closer so I could have pulled on its trunk or pushed it over- out of love of course.

White Trash

We attended the derby Saturday night and loved every minute of it. Of course Logan and I were our fashionably 15 minutes late and it was sold out ( I blame Wal Mart). But that didn't stop us from attending. We joined the dozens of other white trash moochers and enjoyed the derby for free through the fence (in fact, now that I think about it, I can't believe we were considering paying in the first place). The trucks were far more entertaining than the cars. I'd like to see more trucks at derby's and maybe a few airplanes to spice things up.

Farewell to Friendship

Farewell Tippetts! May the flesh eating parasites of Peru spare your hides that you may return to us whole and perhaps we may be friends again someday. So long suckers!

Come Sail Away

I can't believe summer has already come and gone. Boo. Logan starts school again tomorrow which means I'll be watching a lot more chick flicks alone in the evenings.

August has brought wonderful things. The Cache County Fair, oh how we love animals. As well as a Pickett family reunion, and Bear Lake with our good friends the Bennetts! We couldn't have asked for a better way to say farewell to summertime.

Charlie and Seidi. Squeeze those cheeks!

The four of us attempted to sail in this 420 lb capacity sailboat. What an experience.
We finally moved. Air conditioning, washer and dryer, dishwasher, carpet. Ahh we're in heaven. We slept out on the trailer next to our stuff because we couldn't move it in until the next day. A little paranoid?

Happy 50th Mom!
