My sweet sister in law and her high school sweetheart tied the knot a couple of weeks ago.  We are super excited for them and know their children will be gorgeous.  We got to attend the wedding at the Manti temple (which Logan and I were ridiculously late for.  I don't want to talk about it) and the lunch and reception later that day.  Of course I have no pictures of the happy couple but they were beautiful as ever.  I found Jack and Char some cute little outfits for the wedding and pulled them aside for some quick photos.  The pictures are a bit corny but I think thats why I like them so mu

Living Planet Aquarium

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy.  I think we went last summer too, but this year Jack was much more excited and entertaining to watch.  He loved running up to each tank to see what was inside.  Logan and my favorite animals were the otters and penguins of course.  I laughed and laughed.

Petting sting rays! Stingy!

It's hard to tell, but this stingy was literally scaling the tank walls to get out. He was poking out of the water at one point. A little alarming.

And of course when we asked Jack his favorite animal he said it was his little boat.  Stupid transportation always wins out with this kid.

I like this picture because I look like a Twilight vampire.  The lighting gave me red eyes and hair and pale skin. EDWARD!

Char slept through most of it.  Even the otters.

Joy Lake

Oh did I say Joy Lake?  I meant Bear Lake.  The names are interchangable because I always feel such joy at Bear Lake.  Back in June our dear friends the Tippets allowed us to mooch again and spend time with them at their cabin in Bear Lake.  Jack and Macie were good frenemies while we were there and Charlotte got double the torture from two kids instead of one.  We always have a good time with the Tippets and can't wait for another trip with them.

Jenna and I tried to throw together a Happy Father's Day breakfast.  We were somewhat successful.  If only we had brought four more pounds of meat the Daddy's would have been really happy.

Jordan River Temple

 One of our recent FHEs was to visit the temple.  We got some ice cream (which for some reason took forever.  I am still mad at Maverick for having a broken fro-yo machine) and went to the Jordan River Temple.  Jack likes to look for the angel on top of temples. We mostly just hung out, ate ice cream and talked about the temple.  It was a beautiful day and a successful FHE.

Binkday

My sister came up to visit in June.  We had lots up fun letting the cousins play together.  We braved Seven Peaks, had fun at the Castle Park and then threw together a little birthday BBQ for Staci.  It was so fun and made me jealous to taste of what it's like to have siblings close by and to know that will soon be gone.  

I watched the babies at the castle park while Staci took the kids into the crazy castle maze of death.
