Summer loving

I need to wrap up these summer posts.  We are getting close.  Here are just some pictures of how we spent our summer days.  Mostly we did what kids love most, played outside.

Jack and Liam at the spray park.  Liam taking in the face from Jack.
The fountain outside of the Provo Rec center.  It was pretty cool and would hop across the rocks.  Here is Jack purposefully trying to get sprayed in the face.

Smeagoll climbing a pole outside our house.
One of Char's hobbies is sitting.  She loves to find places to perch.  Here she is randomly sitting on a strangers porch.
Being messy outside.
Some bike riding and painting.
Jack got really into taking pictures with my camera.  Odd pics and his little face were all over my camera roll.

Playing movie theater.
Lots of time was spent at the laundry mat.  I hate laundry mats, but the kids didn't seem to mind.
It's not summer without a Popsicle.

Free 711 slurpees on 7/11.
I accidentally bought girl boots for Jack but once I realized it, it was too late, he was in love with them.

This is random but Char's love of puppies amazes me.  She spotted two puppies on this sunscreen.  Can you find them?

City Creek Center

One of  our favorite things to do in the summer was to ride the front runner up to visit Logan at work at the City Creek Center.  Jack loved the train and Charlotte was semi impressed too.  We took a few trips over the summer and one time Jenna and Macie even joined us.  We made a day of it and took the kids to the museum at the Temple.

You can see why he loves the train.
On Nephi's boat fishing.

Feeding the missionaries.

Logan's most favorite summer transportation he would drive to the train station. But for real Jack is in love with Old Red

Farewell Elder Christenson

Logan's little brother Lafe received his mission call to the Tampa Florida Spanish speaking mission.  We are all super excited but of course we miss him a lot.  Lafe and his cats.  The weekend before he left, the family went up the mountain for a dinner.  There was a quick downpour of rain.  We waited it out in the car until it stopped but it was still super muddy.  We sure miss Lafe!

Muddy!
Attempting some fishing.

Dinner.

Lafe and Jack.

Hannah was snapping away.  These pictures make me laugh.

Finally a keeper.
