Siblings

Jack and Char are good buddies.  They love being silly and playing together.  They are alike in so many ways and yet so different.  They both can be very active, silly, and energetic.  Often times Char reminds us of a little Jack.  But then there are stark differences too.  Jack has always been obsessed with transportation and wheels.  Char will play with cars but she always picks the tiny cute ones.  They both like to read books, but Char seems to love it more and it started at an earlier age.  Basically, my boy is very much a truck loving, energetic, physical, dirty boy and my girl is a very sweet, gentle, sensitive, girly girl.

We call this her over-smile.  It's when she has reached her cute peak in a smile, but then overdoes it into this rodent like face.

Playing

A long post of just the day to day.  Playing at home, outside, with friends, and around town.

Jack reading a book at the library.  As you can see he has my wiggle genes.

Groundhog hunting on Groundhog day.  Also he is dressed as a frog...

Pup pup!

Jenna and I threw a baby shower for my good friend Stacey.

Tunnel fun.

Fishing for bugs.

Cleaning the windows.  Jack and Char's favorite chore.

He loves to jump.

I bought a bunch of fruit for a party.  The kids found it and thought they were the greatest toys ever.

Jack and his BFF Liam.  These two are two peas in a pod.

Being creative inside during the winter.

Charlottes one year shoot

As it usually goes, my photo sessions of my kids are always last minute.  The weather looked descent and Logan was out of class so we grabbed the kids and headed out to look for a field.  I should be more prepared and it would probably go better but we got a few good pictures.  I did feel bad that it was colder than I had anticipated though.
Charlotte is such a sweet girl.  She loves to sit on my lap.  Anytime I am on the floor she immediately runs to my lap and often with a book in her hand.  She loves reading books, especially ones that are touchy feely.  She also has some tiny books she carries around all day. She likes to be snuggled and held which is definitely new for me.  She loves to play peek-a-boo.  She likes to color and hold pens.  She loves bath time and comes a running when she hears the water.  She thinks Jack is hilarious.  They like to wrestle which basically means Jack drags her around and rolls her on the floor.  She is a good sleeper and thankfully is still loving her naps.  She loves her stuffed puppy "Pup Pup" and that just so happens to be her first and pretty much only word right now.  She will wave bye bye, blow kisses, and loves giving kisses.  She loves going outside and cries whenever anyone opens or shuts the door and she isn't outside.  She is always trying to escape. She insists on walking on the roughest terrain possible and sometimes we call her Pygmy because she is always climbing up on little precipices.  She is very calm, sweet and kind, and yet crazy and energetic at the same time. At her one year check up she was almost 20 lbs and 30 inches.  She is 50% weight, 90% height, 90% for head size as well.  We love and adore her so much.

I think we upset her.
