Pond skating

This is our last post of my 25 part series of Utah.  We did our second annual pond skating with the Christenson family.  Unfortunately it was much colder this year and lots of snow covering the ice, but it was still so much fun.  The kids and I basically hung out in the camper eating treats.  Can't complain about that.
Papa Bruce cooked us Bruce Burgers over the fire. Yummm.

Lafe attempting to hold another human.  It isn't going well.

Family Fun

More pictures of Christmas in Utah.  Family is the best :)  There are lots of pictures here...
Grandma K reading the kids a Christmas story.
Char mastered standing while in Utah.
Grandma K always gives the kids books for Christmas.

Baby Jake.  Three weeks older than Char but three times the size.
Family trip to Denny's.  We are forced to eat here due to my dad's dislike for anything but meat, potatoes and gravy.

A chicken in grocery store parking lot.  Naturally.
Jack wanted to sleep in Gracy's room.  She read him some bedtime stories.  So cute.
New jammies from Grandma Chappell!

This family has a thing with cats.  I like that.

Jack pushing a puppy in the stroller.  He really wanted a  pet when we got home.

Opening presents at Grandma Alice's.
Grandma and Jack.

We didn't have any sort of crib at the Christenson's.  Thankfully there were all sorts of empty boxes from Christmas laying around.  She didn't like it but eventually fell asleep.
Jack was spoiled with gifts, but even more so spoiled with attention and friends to play with.  He was so bored of me and Logan when we came home.  Lafe and Gracy playing cars with Jack.  Lucky boy.
Lafe and Jack building houses.
We went tubing with the Pickett cousins.  It was a pretty cold day and Jack ended up in the truck most of the time.  Grandma Alice had some candy in it and Jack referred to it as the candy truck for the rest of the trip.
Staci and Jason looking excited.
After about 30 minutes most of the kids ended up in the truck.
Jack and cousin Ellis hanging out.
Jack got to go on lots of tractor rides with dad, Grandpa Bruce and Uncle Levi.
My parents basement is filled with all sorts of treasures.  One day I came upstairs to see  Jack playing with some odd friends.

Snow fun

We enjoyed the mounds of snow while we were in Utah.  Logan and I were fortunate enough to slip away for some snowboarding in Cedar City.  To help ourselves blend in with the cool hip crowd, we went by the personas of Britney and Tommy.  I would say it was a success. It was a perfect day and we had so much fun.  We also did lots of tubing and sledding with the kids.

Fake Christmas

Christmas!  We had a wonderful Christmas.  We started out with our own fake Christmas in Virginia on December 22nd.  Jack is finally starting to get the concept of Christmas and it was a lot of fun having our own little Christmas as a family.  We opened jammies on Christmas Eve, left some cookies out for Santa (Jack doesn't seem sold on Santa), and read the birth of Christ as well as some Christmas stories.  The following morning we opened gifts and ate a Christmas brunch.

Playing with the nativity blocks.

Making cookies for Santa.

Jammies!

Presents!

Charlotte got a baby doll.  This was her first real toy we have given her.  She loves baby Stella.  So cute to watch her rock and snuggle her.

Jack got some magnet cars to add to his magnet set.
Jack's favorite toy.  His big crane.

Our Christmas buffet.  Wow I look gross.
