Snow fun

We enjoyed the mounds of snow while we were in Utah.  Logan and I were fortunate enough to slip away for some snowboarding in Cedar City.  To help ourselves blend in with the cool hip crowd, we went by the personas of Britney and Tommy.  I would say it was a success. It was a perfect day and we had so much fun.  We also did lots of tubing and sledding with the kids.  

Fake Christmas

Christmas!  We had a wonderful Christmas.  We started out with our own fake Christmas in Virginia on December 22nd.  Jack is finally starting to get the concept of Christmas and it was a lot of fun having our own little Christmas as a family.  We opened jammies on Christmas Eve, left some cookies out for Santa (Jack doesn't seem sold on Santa), and read the birth of Christ as well as some Christmas stories.  The following morning we opened gifts and ate a Christmas brunch.

Charlotte got a baby doll.  This was her first real toy we have given her.  She loves baby Stella.  So cute to watch her rock and snuggle her.

Holiday Fun

Here are a few of our pre-Christmas activities.  We had a snowman themed dinner with a Christmas movie.  We also did the traditional decorating of the tree with the buffet of food.  And we made a gingerbread candy train which Jack loved.

The Twelve Reasons We Love You

For a Christmas present for the parents this year we did the "Twelve Ways We Love You".  The plan was to take a picture of the kids each day and put a reason we love them and e-mail it.  It sounded simple but after my first attempt at taking a picture I realized this would be some work.  It was cute though and fun coming up with creative ways to take the picture.  Not sure what happened to number 6...
